I look like a rainy day
To the ones that left
outside in the sun....
You know what it's like
to stay till the journey is done
A long long rode
I suspect you have been on it as well
Driving till the gas is gone
And singing feverishly to that radio song....

I could have easily stayed till the sun fell
or at least till you dried this well
But you "took a midnight train going anywhere"
and I laid back
to chain my self to this prayer
Sunrise to sunset, I claw this debt,
Hoping someday to forget-
Like a good little pet

Myself, I am the exit from here
The more I travel on,
I can escape that fear
You can hold me down beneath the sea
I will still Breathe
and the water will begin to seethe
You can bash my spirit down
I Will Keep Still
And let the madness continue to spill

I look like a rainy day
With a Cathedral light
Cloudy,
high with passions flight
Reason leaves me like a stone
And I forget everything I've known

but then I remember... all the things... that is said........
