MOONLIGHT TRANCE
Comforting the wound,
buried deep beneath the skin
Surrendering to the lights
and shadows of places I have been
Wondering,
Hardly and moving very slow
Falling again-
Can not just let this thing go...
Under the cold night we're watched
By the star's blanket and gazing eye
Healing the wound one kiss at a time
Dizzy beneath the cool azure sky
Afraid,
Finding my footing before I slip
Healing these deepened scars
Unable to lose this grip
Destiny heals,
through twilight's warm embrace
A road to travel
A path to face
Let this go
and let it out
Make it your punishment
and make it shout
Gravity is just a metaphor
for being held down again
from a dark dragon on my back
that disparately wants to be slain
so the poetry came rise once more
Cutting this umbilical rite
Sitting in a warm lost trance
Beside you forever under a brightened night........
ooooohhhhh, it can last forever.....
